​​​At FISW, our mission, to provide an excellent bilingual education in a welcoming environment that encourages critical thinking and curiosity, is our compass. It has shaped our identity since the school founding in 1999. It reflects our deep commitment to bilingual learning, multicultural understanding, empathy, and academic excellence. It also underscores the environment we strive to create each day, a school where every student is seen, supported, and challenged to grow.

Developed through a year-long, community-engaged process that involved families, alumni, faculty, staff, and the Board of Directors, the plan outlines three deeply interconnected dimensions of growth: Community, Academics, and Sustainability & Environment. Together, they form the CASE for FISW, a framework that centers on student success, fosters belonging, and ensures long-term resilience. Rather than existing in silos, these strategic areas intersect to create inclusive environments, steward environmental leadership, and strengthen shared commitment. At the heart of these intersecting priorities is our mission in action: empowering learners who are bilingual, compassionate, curious, and equipped to navigate the world with purpose and empathy.
