Admission Requirements
We have no language proficiency requirements for children entering in young preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten.
For children entering in 1st - 5th grade, existing language proficiency in French is required.
Some students entering 1st - 3rd grade may be accepted without language proficiency in French, by testing into our Intensive French for New Learners Program. The program is designed for students in the early elementary grades (primarily Grades 1 and 2) and requires a high level of commitment by students, parents and teachers. These new language learners are guided by an FSL teachers as they acclimate to the school, working individually or in very small groups to gain the vocabulary and language skills they need to be successful in an immersion classroom.
