Application Process

FISW is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year!

NEW! We are excited to launch our Toddler Program (Age 2), beginning in September 2026.
Our admissions process is designed to help us get to know your child and family while giving you the opportunity to experience our bilingual, community-centered learning environment.

Steps to Apply

Submit an Online Application
Applications for the 2026–2027 school year are now open.
To receive priority consideration, please submit your completed application by January 19, 2026 deadline. Applications received after that date will be reviewed on a rolling basis, depending on space availability. -
Submit a Tuition Assistance Application (if applicable)
Families applying for tuition assistance should complete their application by January 20, 2026, end of day.
Required documents such as W-2s may be submitted later, up to April 12, 2026. -
Schedule an Assessment or Visit

Toddler and Preschool (under 3 years old): No formal assessment required. A Meet & Greet with the teacher is still required.

Preschool (age 3), Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten: Group assessments will be held once a month, depending on the number of applications received.

Grades 1–5: Applicants are invited for a Shadow Day or Classroom visit by appointment.

Receive an Admissions Decision
Families will be notified of admissions decisions by the end of January 2026. -
Confirm Enrollment
Once you receive your enrollment contract, you will have one week to complete the enrollment agreement and submit the tuition deposit to secure your child’s space.

Important Dates

December 3, 2025 – Priority deadline for sibling applicants
January 19, 2026 – Admissions application priority deadline
January 20, 2026 – Financial Aid application due date (W-2 may be submitted later, before April 12, 2026)

Admission Requirements
We have no language proficiency requirements for children entering in toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten.
For children entering in 1st - 5th grade, existing language proficiency in French is required.
