Les Serpents (Third Grade) Study Fairy Tales in English Class

On Wednesday May 3rd, the Globes-Trotteurs, Second Grade/CE1, went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. We began the day with Yann, where the class did several experiments on ‘how an airplane lifts off the ground and stays in the air’.

The children learned about gravity, lift, thrust and drag.  Then we had a fun time touring the museum and exploring all the hands-on displays and experiments.

The children were so excited and couldn’t get enough of all there is to explore in the museum.  We had a nice picnic lunch in the sun a and explored some more.

We can’t wait to go again.  There are so many things to see and experience that one day is just not enough.
