thank you to sarah and camille
we wish you well on your next adventure
We wanted to take the time to say goodbye and recognize two outstanding teachers who have over the past few years brought so much to our school and our students. They also wanted to take the time to say a few words to our community:
After working for 8 years as a Pre-K and 2nd grade teacher and for two years as a French Curriculum Coordinator, Sarah is moving back to Europe. Sarah has strengthened our curriculum by preparing all our faculty meetings for the last two years. She is also a very rigorous and well loved teacher that will be missed by every one.
A word from Sarah:
It is with a lot of nostalgia and memory that I will leave FISW. After eight wonderful years spent at the school, it is time for my husband and me to get back to Europe and get closer to our family. Working at FISW was for me a rich experience both professionally and personally. I found more than a great educator team to work with but very good friends as well. I am very excited to embrace my new adventure and will miss Seattle, its beautiful lakes and mountains. Thank you all, students, parents and staff for making me feel welcomed during all these years, and for having given me the chance to cross your way.
After working for 5 years as a Pre-K, then as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher, Camille is moving back to France. Camille is a very creative teacher who delivers a challenging curriculum and knows how to spark the love of learning . She will also be sorely missed.
A word from Camille.
I came to Seattle five years ago with the idea of a “one-year adventure” and here I am today, booking my flight back to France for one day before my Visa expires. I realize how lucky I was to work with such an inspired and dedicated team who taught me a lot these past years. I also feel lucky to have been able to meet so many different students and families. I am coming back to my hometown in the French Alps with a luggage full of great memories, learnings, and experiences. Merci FISW!
Thank you Sarah and Camille for all your work. FISW has been positively impacted by your teaching and is today a better place thanks to you.
