Green School

The FISW journey does not end in fifth grade. We are thrilled to offer students an opportunity to continue their French education  at FISW in Middle School.

FISW is happy to continue with the Middle School French Program in the 202-23 school year, with a choice to be online and/or in-person, which will offer one hour of history and geography and four hours of French per week during the academic year.

The class will follow the French Ministry of Education curriculum.

In addition to our alumni, the program is open to students from outside FISW who speak, read, and write in French at a sixth-grade level. Do not hesitate to email admissions@fisw.org for more information. We would be very happy to discuss the program in more detail.

The school participated in an assembly program offered by the city of Bellevue, WA.

This program is made for kindergarten to 5th grade students. It entertains as it educates students about how waste reduction, recycling and composting help the earth’s land, water, and climate.  Presented by two professional actors in a lively, interactive theatrical format, it reminds students how to keep waste out of the landfill and make everyday choices at school and at home that have the least impact on the planet.

This assembly will be a great way to kick off the school year and motivate everyone to participate in our school’s efforts to reduce waste and recycle
