The French Immersion School of Washington is dedicated to offer an exceptional education to its students. The involvement of friends of the school and a collective commitment to academic excellence is our school’s greatest asset.

FISW works to keep tuition as low as possible while maintaining an excellent curriculum.  In keeping a focus on academic excellence, fundraising activities and the scholarship fund remain essential to the continuing enhancement of our children’s opportunities. There is no limit to what this community can offer to the children. We count on a shared vision of elevating and expending the potential of our school, faculty, and student body. Enthusiasm and community spirit are qualities of friends of FISW that we count on. Your involvement and contribution helps us meet our mutual goal of making this happen!

Scholarship Fund

An important principle of FISW is to be open and inclusive with a diverse student population. We believe it is crucial to provide financial aid for students that would otherwise qualify for the French immersion program but who need some financial assistance. To support this goal, we've established a scholarship fund with an annual goal of $50,000.

Building Fund

This fund will enable the school to purchase the property.

 FISW Charter member

$10,000   

FISW Patron (classroom) Endow a classroom. It costs approximately $10,000 to fully equip a classroom with desks, bookshelves, and equipment. For a pledge of $10,000 you can establish a classroom in your name.

$5,000   

FISW Sponsor (playground, library,..) endow the playground, the library or computer room.

$10-$5,000   

Friend of school (any amount)

Fill out the pledge form and we will get back to you. 

Corporate Matching

The school is recognized as an organization under 501c3. Contributions made to the school are deductible for federal and gift tax purposes to the extent of the law. As such, all donations can be matched and are doubly appreciated.
