Accredited schools are focused on providing a safe and enriching learning environment while maintaining an efficient and effective operation; school leadership is assured by an independent, non-governmental validation that the school is effectively delivering a quality educational experience to its students; it shows that the school goes above and beyond the minimum to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to quality; and the school is constantly evaluating itself for improvement and stays up to date on effective practices in other schools.
As a candidate member, FISW completed the self-study process in the spring of 2011. The visiting team reviewed the school in April of 2011, and the self-study is now being reviewed by the PNAIS accrediation committee and the PNAIS board.
